Strengthening our Community Development Networks with Community Centres SA

At Healthy Environs we're pleased to have recently joined Community Centres SA (the peak body for over 100 community and neighbourhood centres located across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia). As managers of a remote Community Hub facility and outreach programs, membership with Community Centres SA has given us access to a network of centre operators who (like us) are working to build strong and healthy communities.

"It's been great to connect with the staff at Community Centres SA about our community needs and the challenges that our local residents face. We're a welcome place for our local community and we hear first-hand about the social challenges or loneliness that local people may experience. We were newbies at the Community Centres SA Awards Dinner in 2022 (pictured) and we look forward to building links with other members!
