Supporting Indigenous Aged Care Facilities with the New Aged Care Standards

Working in collaboration with supply nation businesses, Yaran Business Services and Keogh Bay, Healthy Environs has delivered training and assessments for aged care facilities, to facilitate transition to the new aged care standards.

We have worked with indigenous aged care providers across Australia to develop staff capacity, review systems and recommend improvements to address the standard elements of:

  • Consumer dignity and choice.

  • Ongoing assessment and planning with consumers.

  • Personal care and clinical care.

  • Services and supports for daily living.

  • Organisation’s service environment.

  • Feedback and complaints.

  • Human resources.

  • Organisational governance.
